The Sprint Classic 200M (Heats)- Race #3 of 6 - REGISTER HERE

(This is our 3rd location for the 2023 season, and we are adding a fun twist, new course, into the sprint race this year for 2023.

This year the 200M sprint will include 1 buoy turn (down and back) water start, water finish.  ISA world championships ran this format in 2022 and we loved the idea!  You will have 2 buoys set evenly at the turn and it is up to you what buoy you decide to turn around, going either left or right, then sprint back to the finish.  We feel this format adds a bit of strategy into your decision making process and still gives equal turning capabilities for your favored side!

Racers will progress through heats throughout the morning, most likely doing 2-3 heats.

For those new to SUP or SUP sprinting, there will be a fun run sprint!  This will be one or two heats.  This is a great way to get your feet wet and enjoy an awesome morning of racing with individuals who are out there to have fun too!

This entire race will have great views from land for cheering your friends and family on while we are commentating beach side.

Board and gear demos will be available after the race.

This year, we will be going to the Model A Beach Club for a private lunch that is on site!  No need to drive anywhere for lunch, we will have an entire private restaurant all to ourselves.  Model A has a great lunch menu and a full bar.  Please plan to join us after the last race finishes for lunch and friendship!

All Goat Boater Races are SUP only event.  There will be no other kayaks, OC's or other crafts to dodge.

The Goat Boater Race Series:

The Goat Boater, located in Tega Cay, South Carolina was created by Rob Cynowa & Megan Cynowa.  The series is an extremely unique 6 event summer race series that attracts many local racers and paddlers from the surrounding 5 states and Canada. This series consists of sprints, mid-range and longer distance paddles for all level paddlers. Each race (1 per month) of the series will be different, unique, includes a 1k ish fun run and ALWAYS a 1 mile social paddle afterwards!

Come challenge your skills over the season as we travel between 3 beautiful locations on Lake Wylie, South Carolina. These locations were strategically picked as they have great high up views where spectators and family will be able to view most of the race.  Individual participation medals will be given each race, podium finishers for all categories, cash prizes for top 3 male and female riders and series awards will be given at the end of the season to those who have the most cumulative points.

Testimonial: "Goat boater race series was an excellent opportunity to improve in every way. Mixing with the other boaters has enhanced my knowledge of SUP and I’ve made some good friends that I would not otherwise have had the chance to. I applaud Megan and her helpers who have spent many hours planning and holding this series. Look forward to 2022"
